Mountaineer Apartments

General Mountaineer Apartments are a 90-unit student housing complex located on the west side of Campus. Graduate Students and/or non-traditional students make application and are assigned based on availability with priority consideration given to married and single parent students.

The department of Housing and Residence Life works closely with International Programs and Academic Affairs. Through the International Program, we designate 16 apartments for International students and International faculty. Academic Affairs/International Programs keep 2 apartments available for short term, visiting faculty. For information about these apartments you should contact Bob White at International Programs.

The Mountaineer Apartments consists of one bedroom, two bedroom, and efficiency units. Extended basic cablevision, internet, water, local phone service, heat and electricity are included in the rental rates. These apartments are rented fully furnished. The tenant must sign a contract and pay a security rental rate to their student account. Faculty/staff will be charged a monthly rental rate. All policies and procedures are noted in the Mountaineer Apartments Handbook.
